Sean P. Wojcik, Ph.D.

I’m an AI technologist and data scientist with 15+ years of experience at the intersection of AI, advanced analytics, and psychological science. 

I'm currently a Staff AI Engineer at Rula, where I develop AI systems to help improve behavioral health care.  Previously, I was the Founding AI Engineer at EasyMate AI, a Staff Data Scientist at Axios and Axios HQ, and I taught advanced analytics at Columbia. I also spent several years integrating behavioral science and data science with the Gates Foundation and Upworthy to make stories about global health, poverty, and other "things that matter" reach millions of people.

I've published scientific papers on decision-making processes related to media, politics, morality, health, and well-being, and advocated for the use of "Big Data" analytics to improve psychological science.  My doctoral dissertation was published in Science and was widely covered in the popular press, including by the New York Times, the Washington Post, and Time Magazine, among other outlets.

Outside of my work and academic interests, I'm also a dad of two, a dog parent, a mediocre poker player, and a pizza connoisseur.
